APPLICATIONS OPEN 13th Aug 06 - CURRENTLY OPEN

Composers must have their own facilities and be able to give me the music in .wav, .mp3 or .aif format.

The music will need to be similar in style to the original Pirates soundtrack.

The composer will probably do most of their work after the majority of the animating has been done to get a feel for the scenes but can begin work any time they feel comfortable.

Applications should include:
- A name, either real or screen if you don’t feel comfortable
- An attatchment or link to a sample of your work
- Your time zone for planning reasons
- Details of any other collaborative projects you've been part of. Don't worry, it isn't necessary you've done this before!
- Information for your formal introduction if your application is successful

Please try to keep any attached samples a reasonable size. I will reply to your application as soon as I can.

Post questions about the applications below. Please do not post actual applications unless you cannot email me for some reason.

I'd like to be a composer.

I use Fruity Loops, and I export as .wav

I can't seem to upload a sample, but I think you've heard some of my work.

If you could email me an app with a sample (yes, I've heard some of your work. Maybe try something piratey for the sample to see if you can do it?) that'd be great.

An update on the music! I still haven't gotten around to making any of the music, but I will need to know what scenes there are etc before I can. So if you could give me a little info on a scene that would be great!

I suppose I could try making a theme song, but have you already thought of the tune yourself? If so, I'll need to hear it before making it!
