It doesn't look like anyone else wanted to return. I think I'll just put this on hold until I finish Year 12 or someone else gets interest in it too. Hopefully by the time I'm finished Year 12 I'll have my laptop and I'll definitely have holidays for three months as I'll start Uni around March-ish.

Well that's good! Now that I've seen the first Pirates movie, I will understand it a lot more! ( Also, I have more motivation! ) Hopefully this will be able to start up again!

An update on the music! I still haven't gotten around to making any of the music, but I will need to know what scenes there are etc before I can. So if you could give me a little info on a scene that would be great!
I suppose I could try making a theme song, but have you already thought of the tune yourself? If so, I'll need to hear it before making it!

Yes, I'm still alive and I'm still working on the things listed in my last update (see the unfortunate announcement thread). I'm just waiting on some of you guys to give me a shout out.
At the moment, I'm sketching character sheets and earning money to buy my laptop. Because my sister moved out of home, I'm currently scanner-less, which means until I get my laptop (complete with touch screen) I won't be able to transfer my pencil work to the computer. At least not very easily.
I have thankfully located the script buried a dozen folders deep on the harddrive and will be sending it off to the next reader in line. I'm also about to start talks with a couple of other forums about becoming affilates so hopefully we can help each other attract members.
In the meantime, you can all help out by finding reference pictures and helping get the word out. As soon as the script is finished, we'll start finializing voices and recording the voice track.
Not long after that I should be able to start showing you guys characters and so forth.

Thought I'd let you all know that I watched Pirates 3 and it's given me a new burst of enthusiasm. I will be hunting down the script (which is hiding at the moment) and sending it off to the next proofer. After that I will be attempting to pencil in (pun intended) some sketching time to figure out just how detailed I can draw this and still be alive by the end. I'm also hoping to finish off the character profiles and do some more promotion.
Tasks to volunteer for: - Writing up backgrounds/profiles for any of the three canon leads (Jack, Will, Eliz) - Promotion (we really need to attract some more people, especially voices, artists and a musician of some sort) - Reference pictures (yep, still looking for these)
Things will be going slowly still as I'm juggling work, school and writing an origianl (gangster) script but I'm beginning to get used to the changes in my world so I should be able to fit in making this movie.
Oh, and another task: - Motivation (to keep the team, me especially, interested in this project to see it out. Next time you see me making excuses, rebuff them. )

Awesome. If you do happen to find some, you could give them my email or just tell them that though the site is inactive, the project probably will start up again and that I still check it every day so they can PM me and post and the like.
